Big Guerilla Productions coming to the Corn Mill for three nights with “And thank you” on 9th, 10th and 11th August 2018.
Local actor, writer and director Seamus O’Rourke has another new play called “And Thank You”. He has teamed up with Charles McGuinness again, this time it’s about a man from rural Ireland who gets saved, saved from a life of pub talk and prophesising-that’s King John O’Sullivan and he seems to have been a man of some ability drinking pints, but now in decline, poor fellow! The story is told by the Reverend Thaddaeus Clancy and O’Sullivan’s two sons Larry O and Martin. The sons run the family shop while Daddy, the King of McKenna’s Bar makes up the rules. If you enjoyed “Padraig Potts’ ” you are sure to be in awe of “King John”.
